Is my Uti getting better? Is this part of the process?

Question

So after being on a stronger Antibiotic , Cephlexin.. The irritation while urinating has decreased greatly, foul smell gone..
But im still feeling achy pains around my abdomen and lower back...( i hope my kidneys are ok)
Not done with the antibiotics yet...
Will it get better and shouls i go back to the ER if im still feeling pain?? 
What are some things I can take to help aid this process along.   I already knoe abt cranberry and azo

You should keep taking the medication and if it’s still causing problems, see a specialist or your primary care doctor (not er unless it’s a true emergency)

Finish the meds for sure. 
My doctor told me after 2 or 3 days if there is still pain to go back. You may have a kidney infection if the uti went untreated for a while and that could be causing the pain. I'd call the doctors office or urgent care wherever you went and explain the symptoms to see if you need to go back in

Alkaseltzer tablets dissolved in water helped my symptoms but only the antibiotics will fully take it away. Once you are done the full round, if u still have abdomen pain definitely go to your primary care doctor or a specialist.
