I’ve gained almost 20lbs since we have been together
My boyfriend and I have been together 4 years. I weighed 125lbs when we got together and now I’m 142lbs. It really sucks....I don’t know the best way to lose this weight. I am 4’11” so that weight change really does a difference for me. It also makes me feel self conscious. I am so self conscious, I don’t have sex with my shirt off most of the time now. I try to eat healthy and exercise at least for 30mins and 3x a week regardless of my busy work schedule. Maybe I need to start exercising even more. I am going to start doing strength training exercises instead of just cardio. I miss losing weight without having to put forth so much effort, but of course for some of us as we age it’s too good to be true to have that super fast metabolism like before.
I have been going to a weight loss clinic and they did some blood tests on me to check my metabolic panel (liver, kidney, glucose, electrolyte functions), and my thyroid and everything came out normal.
Regardless of diet and exercise, it’s hard for me to lose the weight. As for the weight loss clinic, they don’t have me on phentermine or any diet pill. I’m trying the lipoden and b12 shots to see what that does for me in combination with healthy diet and exercise.
Has anybody else had trouble losing weight but eventually found out what works? Please let me know! This weight loss thing is quite the challenge! I am trying to not get discouraged.
