Why the heck do they still have the clip on?  It was removed before 24 hours for all 3 of my kids.  It’s literally just meant to stop the flow of blood and is unnecessary after that.  I’d take it off so there isn’t additional tugging on the cord stump so it can heal properly.

I would take the clip off, there's no need for it now that the cord is dry. Just wait for it to fall off on it's own, itll happen

They took the clip off in the hospital for my son. Are you supposed to still have it clipped? It might get bumped less without the clip. My son’s fell off completely at about a week old and it was healed perfectly well! We did delayed cord clamping so I’m not sure if that affects how long it takes since it does mean less blood in the cord at the time of clamping.

Call the pediatrician in the morning. It could get infected pretty easily if it falls off too early, and they may want to put silver nitrate on it to help it heal up. Also, folding the front of the diaper down (if you don't already) should help not irritate the area.
