Weird discharge

So I'm halfway through my fertile period and have been getting this weird brown discharge - more on the stringy side. It's like what i'd expect before a period. The timing is really off but I've also been feeling a bit crampy? There's still a good two weeks or so before I should be getting my period and my cycle is very regular. Might be nothing to worry about but just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and can provide insight?
