Help!!

This goes out to my relationship people, so let’s say your partner is struggling financially... has a job but doesnt get paid hourly they get paid by promotion. If they say you are not helping them out by handing them money... is that your responsibility or theirs ? Yes you take them out here and there Bc you understand your partner doesn’t have money. But just handing them money like that? Is it their problem or yours? Again in a relationship, not married.
