Boyfriend relationship w/ God

I knew the guy I'm dating is religious. But going into detail, he says God tells him that he should stay away from me. That he talks to him.

That God tells him what to do, and guides him, he loves God more than anyone else. He's 31 and isn't on his own yet.

This is quite concerning...i feel like this is a mental health issue, and he needs help and we are better off as friends.

It sucks because I really liked him, he's a breath of fresh air..
