UTI at 12 weeks - any advise

Hi, Iv just had a call from my midwife to say I have a water infection and I will need to take some antibiotics for the next 7 days.

Iv had a few miscarriages in the past and I am petrified in taking the tablets just in case it harms the baby. Has anyone else been through this and been fine? I’m 12 weeks now and it’s been the furthest along I have been in any pregnancy. I know it’s best to treat it before it gets worse and Midwife said I will be ok but just want to reach out to mums on here too for any advise who have been through a similar thing? Thanks in advance xx
