Feel like an awful parent as I have no idea what else I can do!!

I’m really starting to struggle not knowing what’s wrong with my little boy (10 weeks). He use to be so happy and content and this has just gone down hill. He’s coughing fits daily, sneezing, blood in poo (he’s breastfed) and just sleeping CONSTANTLY through out the day, not wanting to feed from me, crying when awake. I have no idea what I can do, doctors have been NO help, we’ve been so many times. He had Bronchilitous about 7 weeks ago, not sure if it’s coming back. No idea what to do, no one is listening or helping! Does anyone know what this could be? Or what the heck I can do!

No health visitor, no checks etc due to COVID 19

Pics of poo below (sorry for TMI)

That looks like an allergy to me. I don’t breastfeed but I think most people try cutting out dairy first to see if babies bowel movements improve.

My son was the same, he was great for the first 2 or so weeks, then miserable. I cut out soy and dairy and we started him on a probiotic and it was like I had a different kid. It was so hard to see him so miserable. He’s two now and has no dairy allergy or intolerance. Maybe start there. I think at about 9 months I reintroduced soy, and started a dairy ladder around 10 or 11 months. It was not easy but worth it. I feel you though. I cried like a baby the first time he smiled, I remember thinking to myself that we were gonna be ok.First smile 😊

First off you're not an awful parent! I'm sure you're a wonderful mother. Baby is just uncomfortable and trying to communicate the only way they know how. I went through this same exact thing with my baby around the same age. I brought her to the pediatrician and they said the 2 most common issues is a bacterial imbalance which is rectified with probiotic drops, or a milk protein allergy which would require you to cut dairy out of your diet or switch to formula. In my case the probiotics worked. They tested her diaper/stool for blood which would've been indicative of the milk allergy, and considering you see blood that is what I'm leaning towards.

Milk protein allergy? My daughter had it and I had to stop breastfeeding and switch to formula. Similac Alimentum saved us both. She was happy baby again. Not saying your has the same thing but maybe ask a doctor to do tests.
