Staying for our child?

My fiancé that wants to marry me next year, tells me maybe I'm not the right woman for him when I told him he's withdrawn emotionally and physically from me. He tells me no wonder, I don't cook for him and now he had to watch our toddler because I went back to work for 2 days. Complaining I do nothing and he has to take care of everything. I don't think that's true though I'm heartbroken and now I wonder if he's staying with me because of our child?
