Tantrum help
I am really struggling with what to do with our toddler. She’s 2 1/2 and we have a baby coming in 2 weeks. This past week has been absolute hell with her. The second she doesn’t like something, she throws an all out tantrum. She will not sit still in time out. There is no talking to her while she’s tantruming. She is starting become aggressive when she is upset. Screaming at the top of her lungs (not even crying) and hitting. I’m at a loss. She just got home from her day with Grandma and had a meltdown and I ended up crying (not in front of her) because I’m just so emotional and worried something is wrong with her. After her tantrum, she usually is able to communicate and say how she’s feeling and she’ll apologize and give hugs and kisses. This is also putting strain on my husband and I because I have a ton more patience with her than he does. Do you think I should contact her pediatrician or is this normal for her age? Any advice?
