My family is going to end up on the street

I am getting so frustrated over this situation I just need to vent.

My mom and grandparents moved in with this guy about two years ago. He and his wife own the home. He moved out 2 months ago and my family never paid to live there so the wife (owner) wants rent.

My mom told me over and over she doesn't want to rent from the owner and is moving.

My husband saw a great investment opportunity and can make about $40,000 flipping the house. I told my mom about his plan and asked her a few more times if she was sure she didn't want to stay and pay the woman rent, she said no. They are moving. Great.

My husband closes on this house Thursday and my mom has made no attempt to move. She has had a few months to look for a place and hasn't done anything.

I have been straight forward with her from the beginning and let her know that November 3rd a team is coming in to demo the home and knock down walls, new floor, etc.

Now I am calling apartments trying everything I can to help out. My husband offered to pay their moving fees but she is doing NOTHING. She said she had a townhouse to apply yo and he gave her $200 and it turns out she spent the money and never applied.

Since he tooka personal loan with the bank to buy the house cash, he can evict them which is hope it doesn't come to that. My grandparents are old and can't do anything but I am trying everything I can to help my mom but she refuses to do anything about moving.

I have a feeling he will end up having to evict them.
