My Son Wants To Dance

My son played basketball for a few years and he recently came to me to tell me he doesn't want to play anymore. I'm fine with that. His dad will probably be pissed, but I'm cool with it. He told me he would like to take dance lessons and I'm like "Your dad is not gonna go for that". I asked why and he said it just something he would like to do. So I asked my husband and he says "Is this his way of telling us he's gay?" I just shrugged and he was saying how he's not gonna let our son dance. Its for girl and stuff like that, so I told him dad said no, and he got mad and said he's still not gonna play basketball this season and I'm telling him you're just gonna start a fight with your father and he said he didn't care. Well now he's mad at both of us. Idek why he's mad at me. I didn't do anything. So now I'm getting the silent treatment.
