Does your wife or husband have the right to know what time you are coming home if you go out or do you consider this controlling?

It’s common courtesy...Control would be asking where, with who, why and things of that nature

I tell him so he knows where I am. What if I crash? What if I forget my key and need to be let in? What if I come home and he’s gone for some reason? We like to have a basic idea of where the other is and when we will be in the house. Common courtesy. Especially since we have a dog.

My husband and I let eachother know everything after all he's the one I spend my life with.  Controlling would be telling that person they can't do this or that.

I’d always let my husband know. Not because he’s controlling but I want him to always know my whereabouts & what my plans consist of.

I think its just a respect thing. But I also know sometimes my husband really doesn't know how long him and his brother are going to want to hangout or him and his friend. I trust his friends, his brother, and him so it doesn't bother me🤷‍♀️

If you respect your partner you tell them. Acting like a free agent and only thinking about yourself in a relationship is selfish and not at all what a marriage is supposed to be.
