Endo suppression. Symptoms fluctuating?

So I am currently being treated with monthly Lupron injections for severe endometriosis. I had my 3rd injection last week. The first month after starting Lupron, my cramps were pretty intense. Then after my 2nd injection the cramping went away. Now after my 3rd injection my cramps are back and I feel terrible again, like I did 2 months ago.

Is this normal for the endo symptoms to come and go? I’m concerned that maybe it’s not working but to my knowledge there’s really no way to check (other than a diagnostic lap). I don’t know anyone else that’s had Lupron injections for endo so I’m really hoping to find someone on here that can relate. This has been very isolating. 🥺

(Also - I am not a candidate for the excision surgery so please don’t lecture me on the effects of Lupron. It’s the only option I have.)
