Need advice on a family member

So I have a very close family friend who is sooon to be married but I do not like the person she is marrying no one in my family does. There has been times of mental and physical abuse as well as being unemployed while my family friend struggles to pay bills and is months behind on some bills and over drafts their bank account almost every month. He does everything he wants to do he drives the vehicle she pays for and calls her demanding money while we are out in public because he doesn’t have any because he refuses to work. Today I got the courage to tell her I do not support the relationship with no sugar coating and I will not be in their bridal party if he continues to not hold up his end of the bargain in their relationship. I feel bad because I feel like she’s stuck and doesn’t know how to get out literally everyone around is saying the same things. Am I setting boundaries or was I mean? Not sure pls give me any advice you may have or if you’ve been in this situation before.....
