Am I right to be upset?

So I started my period yesterday and I’m at my boyfriends house. Unfortunately I don’t have any of my clothes over at his house (they’re all at my house, I still live at home w my parents) and I didn’t feel like going to get them. So I just put on my robe and told my boyfriend I wanted to sleep with a dark towel under me on the bed in case my period leaks through the tampon I was wearing (I had to take my undies off because they were bled through). My boyfriend said no, he wasn’t going to let me have an uncomfortable towel under me. And instead he just laid a blanket down over the sheets. I kept insisting that I wanted a towel but he told me he’s not grossed out by me being on my period and even if it leaks he wouldn’t care. Am I right to be upset with him for not letting me sleep under a towel? (We have been together 6 years…)
