Toddler Flu Shot
My toddler hasn't really had to get any vaccines since she weaned from breastfeeding. I usually would breastfeed her after any vaccines and she was instantly fine.
Now she's 2.5 and very cognizant of "boo boos". She gets very upset over the tiniest stub of her toe, scratch of her leg, etc. She demands bandages for everything (a bad habit I need to break).
How do I handle her getting her flu vaccine today? Do I bribe her with a treat? Have a treat readily available for her? Bring her favorite bandages?
I have to take my infant to the appointment too, so I can't handle too much drama. 😅😬
Edit: She said, "Ow, momma. That pokey hurt my leg." And then we just went on, haha. She's been perfectly fine. 🙄🤷🏼♀️
