How hygienic do I have to be for sex?

So a man is not repulsed?
I havent had sex in a LONGGG time. So it feels new to me again.
Do I need to be perfectly shaved down there? Everywhere? Waxed? Which one? 
Im so scared of smelling bad down there to be honest. How can I make sure I dont?
Im 15 months post partum.. had third degree tear and episiotomy too. Does that affect anything sex wise/shaving/wax wise?
Im scared ill be bad at sex since its been so long, but we really like eachother and want to experience this together

I think the amount of hair is totally up to you. If you like it bald then go for it. I personally just like a nice trim, shave / wax bikini area and butt crack lol. Vaginas aren’t meant to smell like roses 😉 so warm water, wash cloth, and mild soap will do the trick. I know a lot of women like those vagina wipes (while they’re not recommended by doctors) if it makes you feel better than freshen up with one of those before sex. 
Have you not done anything sexual for 15 months at all? Masturbation anything? If not I would tell them to take it slow because it might be a little painful at first but other than that I would say it’s like riding a bike you’ll jump right back into the swing of things in no time.

I shave but my husband doesn't seem to mind either way. I tore with both and that hasn't impacted the shaving. If you're really worried about smelling you could shower with him first. That could also help you feel more relaxed. Even if it's not perfect you can just try again later! The same night or a different day, whatever works. It will take time to learn what each other likes so don't put so much pressure on the first time and just have fun! 😊

This is definitely dependent on the man. I get a Brazilian wax for my own comfort, but my husband couldn't care less either way. Meanwhile I don't know the last time I shaved my legs and he equally doesn't care.
