PLEASE HELP ME!! Am i crazy or no?

So my husband and I have been together for almost 5 years now. We had our son 3 months ago. I have always been aware of his relationship with his mom and in the beginning I loved it! We have lived together for 2 years now and recently I have found his relationship with her to be a little concerning. I found out he consistently discusses our minor or even major issues/arguments with her. He texts her or calls her 24/7. If I’m talking to him and she texts or calls him he will not even say anything and just answer her like we weren’t just having a conversation. He also asks her for her opinion on absolutely EVERYTHING. It’s as if he can’t make a decision without talking to her first. He wants to be at his parents house all of the time. Like every day. Again I have a 3 month old, I’m also doing full time college right now and work so it is difficult to do all of this with a 3 month alone on top of having to bring him over there all the time. He also said just started making much more money and said that he wanted to get his mom a $3,000 purse for Christmas and I didn’t even get flowers after I delivered our son. And then when I asked what he was going to get me jokingly he said “maybe a new sweater or something?” I’m not materialistic but for some reason that really bothered me? I just delivered our son and am your wife and mother of your child and you’re giving your mom a $3000 purse? He also got her an Apple Watch for her birthday and I got a stuffed animal… am I being crazy or rude? Please help me!!
