Is this to much?

I have the best boss. He’s so nice and always takes us all out to lunch, makes sure we have any days off we need, encourages us and is just a good person all around. He makes sure we are happy in the workplace. He is buying the whole office a pie each as an employee appreciation thing and I think that’s super nice. Well I’m the admin so I had to write all the thank you cards for him to put on the pies. (He’s also giving me a pie) I decided to write him a little thank you card also just telling him he’s a great boss and was thinking about getting him a pie or like a 6-pack to stick the thank you card on. (My office always has wine and beer) Is it weird to do something for him too tho? I over think everything and don’t want to be weird but he’s always doing things to make us feel appreciated so I wanted him to feel appreciated too. No idea where to Post this sorry!
