Should I ask to reschedule ?

I have been talking to this Military guy he’s really cute and it’s been a while since I’ve actually dated that hasn’t had anything to do with sex being expected which I feel so good about. But anyways we FaceTimed At least 3 times we can’t talk every day because I understand being in the military can get busy. He invited me to go on a date but we forgot thanksgiving was coming up. I really want to go out with him and reschedule but I’m scared to ask I don’t wanna be clingy either. Should I ask if he wants to see a movie with me or just see if he eventually ask again? He makes me really nervous (In a good way). I don’t even get bothered when we don’t talk for a day or two because I know he’s busy working and that’s what I find so attractive about him. Overall I’m hesitant to ask because I really don’t want to be the girl that reaches out all the time even though he asked first I haven’t been on a genuine date in a while and I wouldn’t mind going.
