Nose ring with allergies?

Question

I have some weird food allergies that are nearly impossible to avoid, so I go into these little sneezing fits whenever I eat and blow my nose quite a bit. I also get seasonal allergies. 
I have always wanted to get a stud, but would it be stupid with the amount I'm sneezing and blowing my nose?

I've lost an L shaped nose ring in a tissue once lol I used the corkscrew kind for a while after that but it always stick out of my nose and I went back to an L shape and havnt lost on since, im just more careful now when I blow my nose and stuff, you should be fine

Ive had my nose pierced for about 5 years now and I get seasonal allergies every single spring/summer/fall, plus dust allergies in the winter lol sneezing and blowing my nose has never really been a problem at all. I wear only studs, I’ve had a couple different kinds but my favourites are the c shaped screw studs and labret studs with a flat screw back

I tend to blow my nose by holding tissue just under my piercing (stud) anyways since getting it pierced. I think a stud is more likely to get caught on tissue and pull / aggrevate it if you put tissue over it and drag downwards. The Cork screw studs are the best if you do go with studs however as they don't come out as easy as the L shape. My husband has a closed ring in his nose and has never had issues blowing his nose with that either

I have had my nose ring for almost 30 years now and I only use studs it has never disturbed me if I had a cold. My daugther has a wicked hayfever allergy and has a nose ring since a few years it never disturbed  her. But she prefers a hoop instead of the stud, not because of her allergies just prefers that style or maybe just to be different from mine.;)

I have had hayfever and allergies since I was 10. When I was 15 I got my nose pierced. I’m 33 now and it’s been absolutely fine xx

I don’t think you would have any issues with a stud. They do sell L shaped ones.

For me I loved having my nose pierced, but only had it in for like 2/2.5 years. 
I have respiratory allergies and also get frequent nose bleeds so I gave up on having it in. Having the stud was really cute and as long as you clean it it’s not too bad at all allergy wise - it was more my nose bleeds that I removed it for. 
Worth a shot for sure to see if you like it!
