Do I use the referral money knowing how he felt?
So this online organic grocery store misfits market is giving $30 credits for using someone’s referral. This was stacking with free shipping when it shouldn’t have so I placed a few orders of meat. It was all like $5 or less for 4 steaks because of the discounts.
My plan was to freeze and cook later. One box arrived yesterday and my fiancé flipped out basically saying he doesn’t trust the company and the meat has no expiration date. He couldn’t find any info on where the meat was from. He tells me that even the organic produce they sell could be grown in harmful soil. He kept going on about it last night. I’m fine eating them but he’s very against it. Everything is organic and USDA certified. If they were lying or someone got sick off the meat it’d be all over the internet.
My issue is, I have about $70 in credit that I planned to use on meat because it’s expensive. I’d feel bad ordering and feeding it to him knowing how he feels(I do the cooking) They sell pantry items of brands we know and sometimes buy like goldfish, snyders pretzels, late July snacks, Vermont creamery cheese/butter ect.
Would it be wrong to order those and not say anything? He’d just eat them, and not question where I purchased them.
