Best time to test and how often?!
My partner and I decided to try for our first baby. This is all new to us. I tracked my ovulation via calendar and did ovulation test several times. So we are hopeful for some good news when we test
I went on this calculator that had you input the ovulation day as well as length of period etc. and it said the earliest I could test is Sept 13th with a “results 6 days sooner than your period” test. However, I don’t think that’s too reliable.
If you have tested before did you just wait until you missed your period? Did you wait a few weeks? And how often did you test? I’m just scared of getting a negative and being upset with myself. Which I know I shouldn’t be. I worked in a vet clinic as a teenager and did X-rays without any protection ( didn’t know better ) so now I’m just concerned on my fertility. If I will need that extra help etc. I know I’m probably just making things up in my head and scaring myself further. My nearest fertility clinic is a few hours away. And since we weren’t dead set on actually putting in effort to try at my last gyno visit ( I couldn’t get in to my gyno until the end of the month this time around) I didn’t mention my fertility fears.
I just need advice maybe a bit of encouragement?
