Why did everyone hate Paw patrol? What did I miss?

When my baby was born I saw all kinds of stuff online about how this show was trash and parents warning others not to let their kids watch it and not to buy their merch.

Fast forward to recently my child wanted to watch it because she loves anything with dogs. So I gave it a watch first like I do before I let her get into any show and I saw absolutely nothing wrong with it. I let her watch with me and she absolutely loves it. It's a really cute show and I can't find anything wrong. Can someone please tell me what I missed?

Edit: What was wrong with a police dog? Why does that make it a garbage show that kids shouldn't see? I'm still confused. There's literally nothing bad in this show??
