What would you do/think if your boyfriend told you he and his ex always had anal

And you guys never had? My boyfriend make me feel weird last night we were at a party and they were talking about anal sex and I said I wouldn't know anything about it because I never done it. Then his buddy said oh so your nothing like Mindy she loved it and I was confused what he was talking about and when we got home I asked him what he meant and said it was well known that him and his ex loved anal only had anal sex.
