My SO has been out without me and needed to change out son and he has gone right into the women's bathroom to change him. Usually other women applaud him for doing such. It's asinine that they don't have changing tables everywhere now.

I changed my baby on the table at a restaurant once because they didn't have a changing station. And my husband has proudly walked into women bathrooms to change our kids. Burly man with a beard too lol. 🤷🏼‍♀️

My fiance had our daughter one day without me. I was petrified when he told me he had to change her on a mans dirty bathroom floor because the sink space was too small and since they were in a restaurant he couldn't change her at the table. I told him next time he needs to march his ass into the women's room and change his daughter or do it on the table. I've encountered places without changing tables as well and I just change her where ever I'm at, I don't care about the dirty looks. Put a changing station in the bathrooms and we wouldn't have to change our children in public.

Ooohhhhh let someone tell me it's just a woman's job. I have yet to take my LO out with me because people piss me off and this is why. And when we do go out and if we're in a restaurant with no changing table in the men's I'm going to make my husband go ask the manager where he should change the baby. And god help me if I hear someone say that I need to take him and change him because I will. And then I'll come out and shove the diaper their face. Smdh.

That's absolutely ridiculous. The same thing happened to us at a restaurant yesterday. It's so annoying that I have to be the one to get up from my meal- whether I'm close to finished or not- to change a diaper when my husband is perfectly capable and willing to do it himself. This aggravates me. This is why some men think parenting optional. Only when it's convenient for them. We have to change the way society communicates parenthood to men in order for them to have a more involved role in our kids lives.
