TTC during current world situation?

I myself find this controversial, correct me if I'm wrong.

But as someone who is currently TTC, I've begun second guessing. If nuclear warfare breaks out, it just wouldn't do anyone good to be pregnant or giving birth.

Now, I'm not saying this should change anyone's mind, and I'm not asking if you'd tell other people not to, I get it, their body their business, I just want to know if YOU personally think it's smart or practical?

I won't live in fear. Only God knows when my time is up. And until it's up I will live life to the fullest. I won't stop or put my life on hold. You never know what tom has to offer. Could be more problems could be peace. Who knows? But I'm gonna keep living as long as I can.

I posed this question to my mom when I was younger. Would have been the 90s. She said every generation has had different threats and fears. Back in the 60s, some places actually had nuclear drills. You just gotta live your life.

I know it's scary, but don't let it prevent you from living your life. The world is a scary place in general. Lots can go wrong. But as long as you keep your baby safe, you'll be fine.

I've always battled this question internally. I almost feel guilt having a child in this world with it in what I believe is such a horrible state. But wanting children is a natural desire and I intend to raise my child to be the kind of person this world needs to make a better place.
