Hoping to adopt

We have been waiting to adopt for awhile. We finally tried private adoption and thought we were good to go then the lady disappears no emails, calls nothing. I'm losing hope and I'm frustrated that she couldn't even say she changed her mind our nursery is all set up we bought clothes everything. Any encouraging advice. I mean we have 5 amazing kids that are biologically ours but due to stress pregnancy put on my heart we can have anymore and we both want a big family.
