Who else's husband doesn't help with the baby?

I'm married for almost 3 years, we have 2 month old son.I am the only one who feeds,watches,changes and cares for the baby. He works 40 hours a week, eats and sleep.. me ? I don't get sleep cuz when I ask him to feed baby or change him so I can take a nap baby starts crying and Doesn't stop... then hubby says: let him cry. Like wtf that's abuse. He complains I'm tired... like wtf I'm the one who cooks,cleans, takes care of the baby. I complain about him because he complains about feed and changing baby. I just want 1 hr of sleep can't even get that. Can't shower, pee or poo I bring baby with me.Going on almost 12 hrs of no sleep. I feel like a single mom.

That's not abuse it's okay to let the baby cry but it's depends on how long you allow your baby to cry.

There is absolutely no reason to let a 2 month old baby cry, what a jerk. Cry it out isn't recommended until AT LEAST 6 months old and even then I'm not a fan. A 2 month old is crying for a reason. Unfortunately men just aren't hardwired the same way we are when it comes to our babies. You need to have a serious sit down conversation about how you're feeling. Do you have someone who could watch the baby for a bit so you two can talk uninterrupted? Or at least so you can take a nap?

He needs time alone with baby to realize how much work it is. I had to work one day and husband was off. He brought her to daycare for a few hours of the day and STILL looked like he had been run over by a train.

I think most women go through this lol! My husband is the same way 🙄 complaining about little stuff I have to tell him to change her or feed her or even bathe her

Mine didn't help much on the beginning. It wasnt until I went back yo work , my son was four months old and my hubby spent a few days with out baby by himself that he realized how much work it is. My son is eight months now. And my hubby after realzing how much work it is helps out so much more now. Its amazing , my hubby who used to never clean or do laundry , he would just now the yard...he does housework now its amazing 😎

I won't say mine doesn't help AT ALL, but he doesn't help much. I have to have a break down and cry every so often to get him to realize I really really need help! We are the same tho situation, he works full time and I'm a stay at home mom right now (she's 4 months). I feel guilty sometimes asking for help bc I know he's tired, I know all he does is go to work, come home and eat and sleep, so I try real hard to do it on my own, but you're right, being a mom is hard and a full time job too! We deserve a break and help! He helped make that baby, he is 50% of that babys parents, he needs to step up! I hope you can have a long heart to heart with him and explain how selfish he is being. You deserve a freaking nap!
