When to change diaper size??

Just wondering when  everyone thinks when it's time to change diaper size?? My lo is 1 week old and obviously wears newborn diapers but when did you change sizes???

I went up to size 1s when the newborn diapers started to leave red marks on her chunky thighs! Regular blowouts and leakage may also be another indicator your baby will need to go up a size.

I go by the weight on the package. Like for size 4s theyre 22-37 lbs. Unless theyre having blowouts or leaving marks on baby then i go up a size.

Like everyone else said, the blowouts and looking/feeling to small is what told me to go up a size. My daughter was born at 6lbs 13oz and stayed in NB diapers for 6 weeks.

When they're too tight. Stay in smaller diaper sizes for as long as possible. You get more for the same price in the smaller sizes. There is a point where diaper size changes slow down
