Spotting

So I’m 20 and started taking BC about a month and a half ago. I had sex yesterday and today I felt cramps and I’m bleeding some. I’m in the middle of my pack and I still have about 11 pills left before I’m supposed to have my period. It’s not super light bleeding. It’s probably about the same as the second or third day on your period. Am I just spotting? Or do you think something could be wrong? I’m not sure how light the bleeding is for spotting as I’ve never had any issues with spotting before today.
