My Replacement

So me and my boyfriend was broken up and me and this guy started taking. So me and my new boo (current coworker) were hanging out and I got into a fight and my chain broke. The guy I was talking to replaced my chain and my cross. However, when I got back with my boyfriend, my boyfriend told me that he was bothered with me wearing the chain because my chain reminded him of the other guy. He asked me twice to get rid of the chain, but I really don't want to. What should I do?
