Why do you think he's acting this way? Is he not into me??

There's this boy in school I like, and we talk over text and he's super nice and funny. But whenever we're at school he doesn't talk to me, doesn't even look at me when I try and make eye contact. I'm confused because he says he doesn't text many people during the day but he likes to talk to me, and he also said he's glad he's back in our school (he transferred before) because he got to meet new friends and that if he never came we would've probably never talked. He messages me everyday, but in school around his friends he doesn't acknowledge me. I 'm highly confused by him and I don't know what to do. Any advice?
