Water birth for my second baby?

I always see those beautiful water births at a birthing center or at home. I love the idea of it. My first birth wasn’t a bad experience, but I did have an epidural so i dont know if I’d be able to pull through an all natural birth 😬

For my son I desperately wanted a home waterbirth but I had to take time off work at the end of my pregnancy so I couldn't afford it. I had a natural hospital birth instead because I was too chicken to do it without the tub. Turns out I don't need it. This time around I'm skipping it and doing a homebirth. The rental is going to cost $200? No thanks, I'll put that into my cloth diapers stash thank you!

I wanted one for my first but the birthing pool wasn't available so I had a natural normal birth instead. I had my son back in 2015. My sister had her water birth in January & I was her birthing partner along with her boyfriend and it was an absolute amazing experience! She did amazing the whole time and it was so beautiful and natural to watch. I found out in January that I'm expecting and soon after at an emergency scan at 8 weeks I found out that I'm expecting twins! I was considering a home or water birth but due to there being two I'm now just going down the path of a natural normal birth again; I'm honestly hoping and praying I get to deliver my twins unmedicated and vaginally like I did with my son 🤞🏻 You're designed to do this mama so you'll smash it no matter what, but I would 100% recommend the water birth - not from actual experience but just from witnessing how beautiful it truly is! ☺️✨

I would if I could! I've always dreamed of a water birth, but my insurance doesn't cover it and there aren't any birthing centers that do water births close to me 😢
