Opinions - induction /c-section?

38 weeks pregnant today. Was diagnosed with gestational diabetes and severe polyhydramnios and at last growth scan (36+5) baby’s head in 99th centile, abdomen over 100th centile and estimated 8lb 15oz. Booked in for induction next Thursday and had appointment with consultant who went through risks (shoulder dystocia etc) and also mentioned choice of c-section. Know there’s pros and cons to both options but wondered if any women in/had similar situation and wanted to share their stories? Any assistance appreciated!
