Does he love me?

I've recently started dating this guy about a month ago after talking back and forth for a while.

We happen to really click, and end up always spending as much free time as possible with one another.

Today, we decided to spend time together. He ended up suddenly getting very sick while I was working on studying for an exam for finals.

I sat next to him and rubbed his back as he got incredibly sick. I gave him something to drink, wiped clean his face, and talked to him to make sure he was alright.

As I wiped his mouth he looks at me and says, "I love you." I was caught off guard and I smiled and said, "it's okay you're just sick right now-" but he cut me off and told me again. I replied with an I love you- and let me be honest, I do love him. Just how we are together, how comfortable he makes me, how everything has gone since we met.

I'm just scared now- was this him in the heat of the moment? Will he regret it?

I'm with him now, his head on my lap on the floor in the bathroom as he recovers with some sleep. Opinions?
