No pregnancy this Christmas

Hoped that today I would have been able to share a sonogram of a baby on an ornament, have my husband open a gift saying he’d be a dad, give grandparent gifts to my parents and his.... but after 18 months of trying, still nothing. Every post from a friend who wasn’t “trying” but is being blessed with a baby this Christmas has my stomach in knots. There have been many tears, many tests, and still nothing. For those who are still waiting, I pray that next year our worlds are very different. I got to bed this Christmas heartbroken that I’m unable to make my caring and wonderful husband a dad. But hopefully next year will be another story. 😢
