No help from my DH at night

MyDH has a flexible work schedule. Sometimes he doesn’t have work one day. And if he has work it’s not before 9-10 am. And he doesn’t work past 4-5 pm and not every day either.

He definitely cooks for me and picks the little one up to give me a shower break. No complaints there.

At night he doesn’t help at all. LO sleeps on me and I wake up and do everything for him.

I normally don’t wake my DH up but sometimes if LO’s diaper leaked or spit ups, I ask him to help me. He takes a while to wake up and when I tell him he can’t take that long, he gets angry and tells me that he is working and i am on a leave. He also tells me that my one job is to take care of him and he does everything for me. And bad words because he is still “half asleep”.

I will start to work in less than 2 weeks and my job is very demanding. I’m working 9-12 hours everyday Monday through Friday.

I’m scared he will be the way he is and not help me. Am I exaggerating, I don’t know what to do anymore. Parenting doesn’t stop at night. I don’t know if I am asking too much or not.
