MIL possibly sick?

I am writing this anonymously in case family is on here. 
I've noticed for a few years my mother in law's head and hands shake. I have mentioned this to my husband and he always says he doesn't notice. Last year my sister in law (her step daughter.) Mentioned to me if I had noticed her head shaking. I told her yes I did but we both agreed that we didn't have the relationship to talk to her about it. My husband then said he didn't think it was a big deal.
Tonight my husband mentioned he noticed her head shaking badly.  But he didn't speak to her about it.
She has asked to watch our new baby multiple times and even wanted a car seat for him. I am uncomfortable with her watching him and definitely driving him seeing how much she shakes and I am concerned about her safety. She has struggled holding him and walking up our 6 stairs. Then became argumentative when I asked for him back to walk up the stairs. 
No one in our family has a strong trusting relationship where any of us feel comfortable addressing anything with her. But if something is seriously wrong she should be getting medical attention.
My father in law is 79 years old and is not of any help to talk to her or ask if he's noticed anything.
What would you do?

I would definitely urge your husband to speak to her and use your sons safety as your driving force. If he still refuses I would speak to her yourself, it may be uncomfortable and she may not be happy in the beginning but once she calms down it may cause her to start thinking, if it doesn’t and she just remains angry 🤷🏼‍♀️ I wouldn’t risk my sons safety over just not wanting to upset someone. I agree with Molly if your husband refuses to talk to her you definitely should even if it will be an uncomfortable talk for you and her but just tell her you noticed that her hand and head shake and you feel concerned about her and ask if she has noticed it or even seemed medical attention? If she refuses to talk or denies then theirs nothing you can do right now.. In regards to your son under no circumstances should you leave him with her unsupervised no matter how upset she will be.. She might start having seizures anyway I hope all works out for the best.. Good luck🍀💛💚

Sounds like Parkinson’s disease to me. Someone (your husband) needs to step up and talk to her because they have drugs that will help slow the progression of the disease.

Your baby's safety is your biggest concern. I would address it head on and ask her if something is going on since you noticed it was hard to carry him the other day and if there is anything you can do to help out. Make it about her and if she is ok or not. Next time she asks to watch him, just let her know you aren't comfortable with that, but you would be happy to do something together as a family instead.
