What is happening to me 😱

I’m clueless as to what has happened y’all okay so I was on birth control for 3 years well before I was on birth control sex was great no pain what so ever but about 6 months after being on it sex became painful and bleeding occurred 🤔 A few weeks ago I said screw it Im getting off of it because my doctor hasn’t gave me an explanation as to why this is happening to me 🤔😱 And I just had a Pap smear done and it’s perfect no bad results and no stds so does anyone know what’s wrong ? 😱😱😢😱😱

It’s possible that the hormones in the birth control were messing with the hormones that make you wet and relaxed enough for comfortable sex. If your hoo-haa isn’t relaxed, penetration can be really uncomfortable, painful, can cause friction and bleeding. 
All the skin in your vagina is super thin and sensitive. If you’re not getting the right hormones to soften everything up and make sex easy, it’s really possible that any poking around up there will cause irritation of the vaginal walls or cervix. 
Your doctor sounds like they’re not telling you much information. They should be offering you a different kind of birth control with different hormone levels. I would try asking to switch and see how you get on with something different for a few months.
