Suggestions for baby who sits up in crib

Help! We successfully sleep trained our baby at 5 months. She’s been sleeping great for three weeks now. Whenever she’d semi wake up in the middle of the night, she’d just reposition and go right to sleep without really waking. I am a light sleeper so I usually just check the monitor if she does this.

Well, she learned to push herself up to sitting (she started being able to sit since 4.5 months). And now, her shuffles have turned into accidental sitting up in her crib, sleepy. This leads up to have to go in and intervene because we’re afraid she’s going to smack her head on the crib if she falls over! So she constantly just sits back up now to have us come in and we can’t just let her because the fear of hurting herself.

What do we do? We’re clearly ruining her sleep training, but her safety is obviously the most important.
