Spinal

I have a planned c section for October 30,2019 and I'm kinda nervous. With my first son I received an epidural but was told to push. This time around I think they do spinals. I just wanted to know everyone's experience with doing a spinal and how you felt during and after your c section. What were the side effects of having this done. I remember when I had an epidural with my first son when I went into the operating room I couldn't stop shivering and my left arm totally went numb and felt like I could barely keep my eyes open long enough to see my baby. When I was brought back to recovery I was still shivering but felt alot better. I'm scared this time around as it's been almost 16 years since I've had a baby.
