I’d rather die than live with my parents, depends on your situation. That and I would love to have privacy if I want to invite a guy over etc. I would rent an apartment with a roommate.

If you get along with your parents and they’re not overwhelming, I would definitely do that. No sense in wasting some of the money you’ve worked hard to save up. It’s only 6 months

You could also rent a room for 6 months in someone else's home. Might be less exhausting than living back at home with your parents.

I was in a relationship (engaged) and we both lived with our parents until we got married. We saved a ton of money and were able to buy a home rather than an apartment or condo and do Italy for our honeymoon. So definitely worth it for us.

Depends how your parents are? If they’re cool and let you live like an adult without controlling you, then I’d live with them and save. If they’ll treat you like a child and give you a curfew, then I’d get my own place.
