Here is the article, there is more but its very long, should this woman be charged? Is her argument actually about free the nipple or was she just drunk and being inappropriate with her ste children? Thoughts, opinions? How would you feel?  If convicted she will have to be filed as a sex offender. Is it her place to make this a "teachable" moment, or is the mother in the right for being upset and wanting her to be charged

There’s definitely a difference between casually not wearing a shirt, and getting drunk and stripping down in front of kids (and trying to get your husband to do it too, very weird). I definitely don’t think just being topless around your kids is inherently abuse because it isn’t inherently sexual. Like, my baby is two months old. She breastfeeds a bunch of times during the day. At what age am I obligated to stop letting her see her food source, even though her dad’s chest being visible is totally chill by society’s standards? Does that mean there should also be a “legal” age you have to stop breastfeeding? I think we do need to normalize women’s breasts being visible in a nonsexual way, but also, getting sloshed and stripping in front of your step kids ain’t the way to do it.

She was 100% being lewd. They were uncomfortable and she refused to remedy the situation and then tried to make her husband expose himself to the kids. She deserves the charges, there is no "free the nipple" about it.

Damn. That article goes in a million different directions. Lol. If she was just walked in on and explained it’s not any different than seeing their father like that, then no. If the account of her undressing in front of them then telling her husband to show his penis is true then yeah she should be charged. I honestly don’t even know what to think of that. It’s hard for me to believe that someone would be doing insulation work while under the influence, but you never know. And I don’t think the lawyer is saying they were working in the garage. I guess that’s just her story. It’s bizarre to me that they don’t have a set date on when it happened. I do think some laws are in the wrong where women’s nipples are treated differently than men’s. I’m not a fan of it.

She didn’t have to do all that!!!! It’s NOT that serious!!! 
Breast ARE sexualized and that’s not going to change. Look at the media!! Look at what we as a society worship. 
We sexualized every part of a women. And it’s not going to get any better.
I remember seeing my aunts breast as a child. I was shook like scared. Even though it was an accident even at that young age I knew those weren’t for me to see.

If the children were uncomfortable with it, then she was wrong to insist on being topless. There are more holes in this story than there are in a block of Swiss cheese, but at the end of the day, the children's comfort level, or lack thereof, should be the determining factor. If it makes them uncomfortable, she should cover up. One's personal freedoms should not be used to make others uncomfortable.

Like it says, everyone has different moral positions on nudity but I personally believe she is wrong. I would never get undressed in front of my 14 year old step daughter. But to be under the influence and make the comment that she won’t dress until the husband shows his penis is extremely uncomfortable for everyone.

So because she’s not their birth mom she’s getting charged? I’m so confused? Should parents be charged when the baby moves the blanket while breast feeding too? There were countless times I’ve seen my mom steak from one end of the house to the other? Is my mom also a sex offender? Smh this is ridiculous

I think it really depends on which story is actually true. Drinking and trying to get husband to strip - guilty - charge her and move on.
But insulation story, I don’t find too bad. I wouldn’t have gone into a teaching moment while naked but just said we were itchy from insulation and need to go shower and get dressed. Please turn around if uncomfortable and we can talk about it later. Then after getting dressed, we could talk about it and that if they felt uncomfortable next time we would yell into the house and ask them to go to their rooms first. Or ask them to bring a towel to the garage.
I don’t think it matters that she believes they should be comfortable with it- they weren’t and that’s what matters.
