Good things come to those who wait

Almost 2 years ago i split from my husband due to him having an affair and leaving me pregnant. That was by far my lowest point in my life idk how I honestly made it through. There was months of back and forth with him wanting to work it out, then not, then yes. The amount of stress that was put on me during my pregnancy, I made getting my girl here my main focus because we had planned her for a year and finally our prayers were answered.

And she is such a blessing. She was the good in a negative situation.

Anyway, i went over a year not talking to men or engaging in any type of relationship with them because I couldn’t fathom it. But then I began to see alot about these dating apps and figured id give it a shot right? So I decided on bumble because it’s different right, girls make the first move. Completely out of my element but hey, gotta get out that comfort. So after maybe a month with no real interest I deleted it saying I give up, im just not ready. Well after a few months I decided to try again just to see if my luck changed. I see this guy, I hit him up, we chat on the app for about 2 weeks and then we finally exchange numbers. We text for a month and then decide to go on a date. He shows up with flowers! Needless to say, 5 months later...

We are still dating! And I couldn’t be happier. I would have never guessed we would get this far from a dating app but im so glad we did because he treats me amazing. This man right here prays for me, with me, makes sure I’m financially cool without me saying anything, treats me like his queen and im excited to see where this goes.
