Not a super smiley baby

My boy is 9 months and is a very serious baby unless it comes to me singing or dancing. If I sing or dance he is all smiles and laughs. Otherwise he does not smile when I smile at him probably 9/10 times. It almost feels like he is ignoring me. If the dogs are in the room he is always laughing at them and giggling. Is this an autism concern? He does engage at smile but I have to be very "extra", if dad gets off work and says hi and smiles at him he will give a smile and go back to playing. He also loves to smile for his grandma at times.

When we play peek a boo he will just grin a little and watch sometimes I can get a big grin.

Normal behavior or should I bring it up to his pediatrician?
