Am I the only woman that really doesn't care if the toilet seat is left up??

Like if I have to put it down all the time idc cuz he has to put it up everytime. Plus i like examine around the toilet cuz I'm so scared of a bug crawling on me while I'm going potty.

My partner was raised by his aunt and his mother, and he was married before with 2 daughters, so he never leaves the toilet seat up. But growing up with 2 brothers who did it all the time, it bugs the crap out of me if it's left up!

It doesn't bother me but my husband never leaves it up.  If he does he'll apologize and fix it. Even if I didn't know.  Cause one time early in our relationship  it was shortly after we moved in together,  he left it up.  He always did.  Well in middle of the night he had to use the bathroom. He forgot and sat løl. Hasnt done it since then

I always ask that the toilet lid be closed. The only reason I care is just because my cat for some reason has a fascination with the toilet and I’m afraid she’s going to jump up when the lid is open and fall in and drown.

Dont like it. But my man rarely does it so I guess he learned early on to put it back down.

It being left up seriously annoys/irritates the fuck outta me 🤷‍♀️ I’m constantly reminding my son do put it down, and my uncle who lives with us just can’t seem to get it either 🙄 Not only have I just grown up with the notion that men should be polite & put it back down if women/girls are in the house, but as someone who suffers from a VERY overactive bladder (like legit, I take medication that sometimes doesn’t work, especially if I’ve drank a lot of water) & sometimes only has seconds to make it to the bathroom before having an accident, it’s a real pain to worry about whether the seat is up or not... and, I’d rather not have to slam it down quick, or possibly have an accident. Plus, it being up just looks tacky & dirty to me 🤷‍♀️

I prefer that the seat and lid always be down when not In use so both of us have to lift and put it down.
