Ending no contact

Has anyone successfully gone through a break? We’re supposed to be ending our no contact period April 1st, and im not gonna lie im nervous. Insight we aren’t actually in a relationship, he’s my ex and our relationship ended because I cheated. We were lets fwb for a year after we started back talking. I asked for this break because I still have feelings for him and needed to myself to actually be alone guy free. But idk how to go about talking to him again or if i even should. Help please!!
