Am I wrong?

So I'm in the nesting stage of pregnancy and I want to get the nursery finished as soon as possible. Today I wanted to put the pet net up so we could get rid of the bags of stuffies we have but my fiance doesn't want to. I offered to do it but he said it's not a good idea since I have to stand one stool or chair. I told him I'd be fine and he still said no and won't give me the tools to do it. I got mad that he wouldn't let me do it and we got into an argument. I told him that if we do it now we won't have to do it later and all he kept saying is he didn't want to do it right now. So I snapped and told him that there's going to be things he doesn't want to do but will have to and that I'm only preparing him for baby. Plus I really want to get this nursery finished since I'm due in 2wks. Afterwards he said I made him feel insecure. He interpreted me saying that I'm preparing him as me saying he wouldn't be a good dad. I assured him that's not what I mean and that he'll be a great father but he's still hurt... was I wrong to push so much??? Ik I can be overbearing but I didn't think putting a pet net up would cause an argument like this...
